It's unknown when the injury happened. A sparkplug for the Vikings' offense, Harvin is on pace for 58 catches, 746 yards, and 10 all-purpose touchdowns. If he does play Sunday, Harvin has an excellent matchup against a Baltimore team that struggles in the slot. Check back later this week for updates.

We'll have to wait and see if he'll be a full participant after missing Wednesday's practice altogether. Harvin doesn't believe the injury is serious, so expect him to resume slot receiver duties against the Ravens this week.

However, Harvin participated in practice on both Thursday and Friday and appears likely to play. He's still worth checking on Sunday morning after saying Friday that he considers himself a "game-time decision." Harvin is a solid WR3 start if he's active. The teams square off at 1PM ET.

The official listing is "illness." The Vikings hope Harvin will return to practice Friday. He already has the game plan for this week and may see an increased offensive role if Bernard Berrian (hamstring) can't go, in which case Harvin would be a viable fantasy option. October 29

Harvin was expected to play all along, but his history of migraines kept his status in question. He had missed practice on Thursday but returned in a limited fashion on Friday. With Bernard Berrian likely out, it is key for Harvin to play. November 1

Vikings coach Brad Childress revealed that Harvin's recurring migraines also prevented him from studying the offensive game plan for Week 14, which is a pretty solid indication that he isn't going to play against the Bengals. The Vikings will make a game-time decision on Harvin's status for the 1PM ET game. Cincinnati does struggle badly to defend slot receivers, so it would be difficult to bench Harvin in fantasy leagues if he's active on Sunday.

"He's been having (migraines) for a good period." Harvin has played in games with no practice the week leading up to them, but he's looking doubtful to face Carolina.

Harvin is still expected to play on Sunday Night Football, but will visit a specialist at the Mayo Clinic early next week. Harvin has also been told that his migraines are genetic, and that they can be triggered by eating chocolate or spending too much time in the sun. He's been prescribed to treat the illness by getting as much sleep as possible and staying hydrated.
